Going in Circles

Lately, whenever I put Madelynn in her play gym and then leave the room and come back I catch her in a different postion. So, yesterday I decided that I was going to put her in her play gym and take pictures of her moving around. I caught her turning in a circle. This is the slide show of it.
UPDATE:You might have to watch it twice for it to actually look like she's going in a circle. Depending on how fast it loads on your computer.

You would not believe how difficult it was for me to make a sildeshow. I tried using Picasa and they wouldn't let me save it for some reason. Then I tried to use some other thing Casey has on the computer that you can use to make slideshows and that wouldn't save it. So I just found an internet based thing that you don't have to save it to your computer.
Anyway. I hope you all find it as cool as Casey and I do that Madelynn is semi-mobile.

First time eating cereal!!

Madelynn has been waking up at night again for reasons unknown to me.  So last night I decided to give her cereal and see what happed.  I've been thinking for about a week that she's ready for it anyway and I was gonna for sure start her on it next week.  But I was talking to my, oh so knowledgeable when it comes to children, sister-in-law, Amy and she told me that she found when babies start waking up in the middle of the night again it is because they are hungry and the cereal helps them sleep because it keeps them full longer.  Well I was all about that because after getting 8+ hours of sleep a night and then going back to only like 5(or less when I decide to stay up and watch a movie)my body has started to hate me, I'm just not used to the lack of sleep anymore.
After the cereal Madelynn slept for a hour more than she has been and she went right back to sleep after I nursed her instead of staying awake like she's been doing.  So I guess it kinda helped though no that much of it actually went into her mouth and then down to her tummy.  But this is a play by play of sorts with pictures.

After the first 2 bites.  I thought it was going pretty well.
Then came this.  Apparently she was just storing the first 2 bites and then with the third one it all came out.
No. the bowl is not on her high chair.  It was on the table.  It just looks really close.
She decided the bib was more tasty than the cereal.
had to add some fingers in there.
I think in this one she looks like, "Look Mommy, I wiped off my mouth."
So I was like, let's go for another bite.  That got me this face.
And then this face.  She really didn't like it.
But then she decided to suck on the spoon.
More spoon sucking.
After I got the spoon out of her mouth and went to give her another bite she started fussing.  She was tired.  See I made all of that cereal and she ate barely any.  We'll give it another try tonight.  Maybe we'll have daddy do it.

I have some cute pictures of Madelynn and her cousins that I was going to post but, for some reason blogger doesn't want me to have any more pictures on this post so I'll just save them for another time.

Fun with Family.

Kentucky was lots of fun. We really enjoyed getting to spend time with family that we don't get to see very often. Madelynn seemed to love every one. She smiled and cooed and laughed at everyone that held her though she had never seen any of them before. She even fell asleep while her Great Grandma was holding her, and then again while her Great Uncle Murry was holding her. It was so sweet. She's never fallen asleep before for anyone other than Casey and I.
We took lots of pictures. Even some of weird signs that we saw when we went to town.Madelynn's scheduel wasn't really thrown off like I thought it would have been. She slept all night every night we were down there. We bought her a new swing so nap time would be easier but after the second day she decided that she hates the new swing. Well she hates sleeping in it. So I got to rock her to sleep for every nap and then to go to bed. But when we got back she was back to her normal scheduel. There was no fussy baby like I thought there would be. The only fussyness we saw was a 30-45 minute period on the way there and then again on the way back in the car. She was VERY vocal about her dislike of the long car ride.
I must go play with my baby. I will leave you with a bunch of pictures.(if they all upload)

Kentucky.

On Wednesday we are leaving after Casey gets off work to go to Kentucky to see his Grandparents for Easter. They haven't met Madelynn yet and I'm really excited that they get to meet her. We're gonna stay from late Wednesday night to Sunday morning. Then we're heading home so Madelynn can see all of her other Grandparets and Great Grandparents on Easter.
I have so much to do before we leave. Since I have developed a cold, that I thought was allergies a few days ago, and seems to be turning into something worse I am going to go to the doctor tomorrow so I don't give it to Madelynn and we don't have a sick baby for our trip. Also if Madelynn still has a runny nose in the morning, which I'm sure she will cause she had one when she went to bed, I have to call her doctor cause they said to call if it lasts more than 10 days and today was the 10th day. So most likely tomorrow we have a day full of Dr's appointments. Then after we get done with those we are going to my Grandma's to do laundry because we don't have a laundry machine here and I normally do my laundry at Amy's house but her babies are sick so I don't really want to take Madelynn over there for a prolonged period of time. Which sucks cause I miss them and if we don't see them this week it will be 2 weeks of not going over there but for like 10min to drop off some movies for the kids and 10min this morning to pick up Schram, and the only one I got to see then was Silas.
Then on Tuesday whatever laundry I didn't get done Monday will have to be done. I've got alot of it cause like I said I haven't been able to go to Amy's for a week. And I have to do some shopping for things to drink on the way there and a snack for Casey so he stays awake driving. It's alot cheaper to get it at the store than at the gas station.
On Wednesday Madelynn and I are staying home ALL DAY. Because I want her to get as much rest as possible and to be in a fimiliar place as much as possible before we leave. I'm also packing and then double checking that I have everything. Then Madelynn gets a bath and I get a shower in the afternoon and we wait for Casey to come home so we can leave.
When I type it out it doesn't seem like much but in my head it seems like ALOT.
Well I'm gonna go to bed now since I have stuff that has to be accomplished tomorrow. Night.

more pictures.

These are more pictures from this week. Madelynn has fallen asleep for a nap on her own 4 times now. Once on my bed, once on my grandma's floor and twice in her bed. I'm really excited. I was so scared that I would never be able to make her fall asleep on her own. But this week she just started doing it.

Fell asleep on her own at my grandma's for a nap.

Starein down the frog on her bouncer.

To me it looks like she's thinkin, "why do you keep taking pictures of me?"
